
Mohamed Al-Kazaz, MD
Dr. Al-Kazaz earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar in 2012 with academic distinction, followed by internal medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell Campus) and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he was the chief fellow and faculty for 3 years before moving to Northwestern in Chicago. His clinical and research interests focus on pericardial disease and valvular heart disease, with a strong emphasis on clinical trials and new emerging therapeutic options, as well as multimodality imaging to guide diagnosis and management of these conditions.
