Allen Luis, MBBS, PhD

Dr. Luis is co-director of the Pericardial Diseases Clinic and a non-invasive imaging cardiologist at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota). He is a keen educator serving as the Associate Dean for Student and Faculty Affairs at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and as the Associate Chair for Education for the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases. He also serves as Medical Director for the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Echocardiography and Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography Programs. He is a member of the American Journal of Cardiology Editorial Board. His key area of clinical and research interests is in the area of pericardial diseases, particularly recurrent pericarditis.
